So is this thing happening? I’d LOVE to participate, but the lack of content here doesn’t look too encouraging…

  12. Barbara says:

Darn. I got all excited, and then realized it starts on October 13, which is the same day I’m hosting a workshop. Can’t go this year. Bummer.

  13. Todd says:

Sounds fun. I like that I don’t have to travel for this one!!

  14. Erica says:

When I registered, the dates were the Friday and Saturday. Is the Sunday event just the hackathon? Looking forward to Saturday, at least (already have Sunday plans)!

  15. Michele says:

Can you tell me if the WordPress Hackathon is limited or can anyone participate that registered for the Saturday conference? I am traveling from out of town and I also wondered about the refund policy on the registration fee?

    Thanks

  16. Gordon Banks says:

As a participant of WCSF 2012, was glad to see that the Saturday sessions are going to be longer than 15 minutes at WCSF; which was way too short to get into any topic in any depth. The Saturday WordCamp Denver topics look good, I would like to see additional sessions on Sunday on topics like: orientation to Twenty Twelve Theme (& what happen to it?), responsive design for mobile devices, WordPress development with Coda, etc. The Sunday Hack Day is a lost day in my opinion and I would like to see another 12 WP sessions to choose from on Sunday. It’s hard to rationalize flying to Denver (or another WordCamp location) for only a one day WordCamp conference.

Since we’re starting WordCamp back up again, it was going to be pretty tough to support a two-day camp. Next year, though! Also, the hack day will be unconference-style so whatever topics are deemed most valuable by the group will be what we talk about.
