Planning for WordCamp Denver is in full swing as we head toward November and we wanted to recap some news posted in the last few weeks, just in case you missed it.
Call for Speakers (apply now)
On August 5th, Patrick posted the call for speakers. Speakers drive the content and narrative of WordCamps, and in Denver, we like speakers who have stories to tell and/or learning moments to share, no matter how much experience you have.
Explaining how you learned something can help others learn too! So if you’ve learned anything new recently, we’d love to hear from you.
The deadline for speaker applications has been extended by one week to Friday, September 23rd. Apply today.
Call for Volunteers (get in touch)
On August 10th, Amber posted the call for volunteers. Volunteers are the grease in the wheels that keep WordCamps rolling.
Whether they’re organizing, speaking, hosting rooms, running video equipment, helping people register, answering questions at the community help lounge, and more, volunteers an integral part of making WordCamp Denver a success year after year.
We’re still looking for volunteers, so if you’re interested in helping us out, get in touch.
Call for Sponsors (find out more)
On August 14th, Corrinda posted the call for sponsors. Sponsors allow WordCamps to be successful in providing awesome venues for learning, discussion, and socializing throughout the weekend. Sponsors are also the primary driver for keeping ticket prices low while getting awesome exposure to key demographics.

Call for Attendees (get your tickets)
On September 7th, Drew (that’s me!) posted the call for attendees, which is just a fancy way of saying “ticket sales are open!”.
$40 for a two day conference, lunch on Saturday, and even some sweet WordPress swag is a real steal. If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, there’s still quite a few left. Find out more on our tickets page.
