GreenGeeks and WordPress: Why We Sponsor WordCamp Denver

GreenGeeks is proud to be a sponsor of WordCamp Denver. But it goes beyond simply marketing our brand and products. Don’t get us wrong, sharing what we do and what we provide is always a plus. However, there is more to WordCamp than just brand marketing.

And sharing why GreenGeeks and WordPress work well together is among the top on our list.

So, what brings GreenGeeks to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado? Well, first of all, the view. Colorado has some amazing landscapes. Some of our staff really enjoy Red Rocks.

However, we join the ranks of sponsors for WordCamp Denver because:

It’s an Amazing Community

The WordCamp community is simply one of the best to be a part of. So many people volunteer their time and work hard to bring these functions to life that it’s indeed inspiring.

From the hard work of organizers to the interaction of guests and attendees, the experience of WordCamp is unique.

As WordPress powers nearly one-third of websites in the World, it’s nice to know there is a collaborative effort for open source development. And we’re incredibly happy to be a part of this extraordinary community.

We Like Engaging with Others

One of the things we like most about WordCamp is engaging and sharing with others. We’ve learned a lot and heard some awesome stories from those involved.

And that’s what WordCamp is mostly about, really…the sharing of ideas and meeting others who put in as much effort to succeed.

As each session is unique in and of itself, attendees can learn something new with each WordCamp. In fact, we often partake in the sessions ourselves at many of these events to expand our own knowledge and how we can help the community.

Sharing Our Message

And lastly, of course we want to share what GreenGeeks offers. We want WordPress users to know we have their back with our ever-growing list of tutorials as well as hosting platforms.

But we’re not just a web host provider. We also focus on helping the environment. In fact, we put in 300% of the energy used to run our data centers back into the grid through renewable sources.

Our customers can have the peace of mind of knowing their websites are helping to reduce the carbon footprint of web hosting.

We’ll See You Soon, Colorado!

We’re excited to be a part of WordCamp Denver and can’t wait to meet everyone involved. So if you’re there as a guest, organizer, sponsor or volunteer, stop by and say, “Hi.” We might even have some awesome GreenGeeks swag to hand out!
